The SEC’s whistleblower program continues to break records, and recent enforcement actions serve as a reminder that companies should undertake appropriate remediation to ensure that they are in compliance with Dodd-Frank’s whistleblower protections. Likewise, the EU Whistleblower Directive has been implemented by most member states, a development that is expected to lead to a significant increase in whistleblower activity in Europe.
