Swedish telecommunications giant Ericsson announced in its 3rd quarter report that it anticipates a resolution of FCPA allegations by the United States Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission. The company did not provide details concerning either the length of ongoing discussions with the enforcement agencies, or the magnitude of an eventual resolution. However, the company did note that, based on the facts that have been voluntarily shared with the authorities since the investigation began in 2013, monetary and other measures included in the resolution could be material.
