The US Department of State has designated the Balochistan Liberation Army and Husain Ali Hazzima, chief of Hizballah Unit 200, as Specially Designated Global Terrorists, and renewed the designation of Jundallah (also known as Jaysh al-Adl) pursuant to Executive Order 13224 for their involvement in terrorism. According to the State Department, the designations are intended to expose and isolate the designated entities and individuals and deny them access to the US financial system. As a result of the designations, property interests of the designated parties that are subject to US jurisdiction are blocked, and US persons are prohibited from engaging in any transactions with them.
