Interactive Brokers Group, Inc. (IBG) disclosed in a regulatory filing on November 12, 2019 that it is currently cooperating with and providing information to the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the US Department of Justice, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and the Commodities Futures Trading Commission. IBG said that it believes the regulators are focused on anti-money laundering and Bank Secrecy Act compliance. The company added that it has enhanced and augmented its compliance procedures and personnel over the past several years, but cannot predict the outcome of the current examinations and inquiries.
