Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General John P. Cronan spoke on Wednesday at the Practice Law Institute FCPA Conference in Washington, D.C. The speech focused on three topics: cooperation between law enforcement and private industry in the FCPA context and beyond; cyberattacks; and compliance. Noting that the private sector and enforcement authorities share anti-crime objectives, Cronan urged self-reporting, full cooperation, active compliance, and warned against the growing threat of cyberattack.
