Columbian bank holding company receives DOJ inquiry

Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores S.A., a bank holding company, reported that it has received an inquiry from the US Department of Justice regarding the Ruta del Sol 2 project.  The company reported in February 2017 that its subsidiary, Corficolumbiana,  participated with Odebrecht in the Columbian highway project through its affiliate, EPISOL, which held a 33% share in the project.  Grupo Aval says that it intends to cooperate with the DOJ investigation.
