Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGaA announced that it has reached a settlement in principle to end an investigation of possible FCPA violations. The company disclosed in its regulatory filing that it has recorded charges of € 224 million encompassing estimates for the government’s claims for profit disgorgement, penalties, and incurred and expected legal expenses, impairments, and costs.
