Par Technology Corporation, a global provider of cloud-based point of sale, payment, and food safety software, announced in a securities filing that the SEC recently notified the company that it did not intend to recommend an FCPA enforcement action based on the company’s self-reported import/export and sales documentation issues in China and Singapore. Par also advised that the DOJ was declining criminal prosecution as well. Par is continuing its cooperation on these same matters with enforcement authorities in China and Singapore, to which it had also made voluntary disclosures following the conclusion of Par’s Audit Committee investigation.
