Bruker Corporation, a Massachusetts-based scientific instruments manufacturer, reported in its quarterly SEC filing, that on April 25, 2019, the SEC informed the company that it had concluded its investigation into payments for non-employee travel expenses, financial reporting, and certain accounting practices, and that it would not pursue an enforcement action against the company. Additionally, the company reported that its board of directors concluded a previously-disclosed internal investigation into potential FCPA questions involving the practices of business partners and former employees in China. The filing did not disclose the conclusions of that internal investigation.
