The US Secretary of State has publicly designated the Malawian Special Parliamentary Affairs and former Minister of Home affairs, Uladi Basikolo Mussa, pursuant to Section 7031(c) of the Department of State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Act of 2019, for his involvement in significant corruption. Mussa’s wife, Cecillia Mussa, has also been designated. As a result of the designations, Mr. and Ms. Mussa and their immediate family members are ineligible for entry into the United States.
