The Office of Foreign Assets Control of the US Department of the Treasury has designated seven Venezuelan government officials pursuant to Executive Order 13692, as amended, for undermining democratic processes or institutions in Venezuela and for their roles as officials in the government of Venezuela. According to OFAC, the seven individuals added to the Specially Designated Nationals List are delegates to the National Assembly who have obstructed proceedings of the National Assembly, taken measures to undermine the elections process, and supported an illegitimate vote without a quorum.
