The Office of Foreign Assets Control of the US Department of the Treasury has published a new Frequently Asked Question in order to guide people wishing to provide humanitarian assistance for the COVID-19 outbreak in Iran without violating US sanctions. The FAQ describes the exemptions and exceptions allowed under section 560.210(b) of the Iranian Transactions and Sanctions Regulations, along with the provisions of General Licenses 8 and E and related FAQs.
