On November 6, 2020, Ubiquiti Inc., a manufacturer of wireless communications equipment headquartered in New York City, announced that the US Securities and Exchange Commission had notified the company on September 11, 2020 that it had concluded its investigation of Ubiquiti and did not intend to recommend an enforcement action.
Ubiquiti had previously disclosed that in February 2018 the SEC subpoenaed the Company to ask for information concerning a wide range of topics, including Ubiquiti’s accounting practices, its international trade practices, and its relationships with distributors and other third parties.
