On December 23, 2021, the Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control amended the Weapons of Mass Destruction Trade Control Regulations (31 CFR part 539) to add EO 13382, “Blocking Property of Weapons of Mass Destruction Proliferators and Their Supporters” as an authority to the Regulations, remove Appendix I from the Regulations, and amend three definitions to reflect the removal of Appendix I. The amendment is effective December 27, 2021 upon publication in the Federal Register.
