On May 2, 2022, the US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control issued Russia-related General License 30, “Authorizing Transactions Involving Gazprom Germania GmbH Prohibited by Directive 3 under Executive Order 14024” pursuant to the Russian a Harmful Foreign Activities Sanctions Regulations, 31 CFR part 587. GL 30 temporarily authorizes transactions involving Gazprom Germania GmbH, or entities in which Gazprom Germania owns a 50 percent or greater interest, until September 30, 2022.
