The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control launched its new Sanctions List Service (“SLS”) on May 6, 2024 to enable users to search for and download the most up-to-date sanctions lists and sanctions list data. The SLS, which includes OFAC legacy and modern sanctions list data files, is now the primary application used by OFAC to deliver sanctions list files and data to the public. The traditional OFAC Sanctions List search tool, which enables users to employ fuzzy logic to search for persons on Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List (“SDN List”) and the Non-SDN Consolidated Sanctions List, will still be accessible on the SLS at https://sanctionssearch.ofac.treas.gov/.
