OFSI updates general license that enables humanitarian aid to Israel and occupied Palestinian territories

On April 30, 2024, the Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation updated General License INT/2023/3749168, which was issued under regulation 31 of the Counter-Terrorism (International Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulation 2019, to enable certain humanitarian-related transactions involving Israel and occupied Palestinian territories.  The license’s reporting requirements were updated to cover Relevant Activities undertaken by any Relevant Person for the duration of the general license.  The general license also now expires on May 14, 2025.  In addition, reports must be sent to OFSI by November 13, 2024 for activities undertaken before this date, and by June 14, 2025 for activities undertaken after November 13, 2024.
