On December 16, 2024, the Securities and Exchange Commission adopted amendments to require the electronic filing of certain forms, filings, and submissions made by registrants, including broker dealers, national securities exchanges and security-based swap dealers. The amendment will require registrants to make certain electronic submissions to the Commission using the EDGAR system. The adoption release, which is published on SEC.gov and will soon be published in the Federal Register, will be effective 60 days after its publication in the Federal Register. Dates for compliance with the amendments vary and depend upon the particular form or rule involved, with some compliance dates occurring as soon as 60 days after the release is published in the Federal Register.
