The UK Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation recently amended a general license and a Russia-related general trade license. On February 23, 2024, OFSI amended General License INT/2023/3626884, granted under all UK Autonomous Sanctions Regulations listed in Annex I of the license, to permit the payment of Administrative Restoration Fees to Companies House.
On February 26, 2024, OFSI also amended General Trade License GBSAN0001, issued pursuant to regulation 65 of the Russia (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, related to sanctioned iron and steel. OFSI updated Paragraphs 6 and 7 of the license to change the date before which relevant processed iron and steel products must be manufactured and produced in order to be authorized for import.
