Environmental, social and governance, or “ESG,” issues have taken center stage across the full spectrum of the financial sector, including with enforcement authorities. The SEC, in particular, has sharpened its focus on these issues and on companies’ related disclosures. Meanwhile, ESG critics have become increasingly vocal. In this webinar—part of our ongoing ESG series—we will provide an update on the latest enforcement trends, and the impact of the recent transition of power in the House of Representatives. Our panel will provide commentary on ways industry participants can navigate between these competing pressures and mitigate risks arising from ESG issues.
