This 60 minute CLE provides an introduction to the Foreign Agents Registration Act (“FARA”) and explains why this often misunderstood law should be closely considered by all foreign clients—and their subsidiaries and agents—acting in the United States. The presentation offers a brief overview of FARA’s general requirements, potential exceptions, enforcement trends, and potential changes in the law.
