Officials from the US Department of Justice and European Commission met on September 25 to begin negotiations aimed at facilitating the sharing of electronic evidence in criminal investigations between the EU and the US. The parties have agreed to have regular negotiating rounds with a view to finalizing an agreement as soon as possible, according to a press release published by the US DOJ.
