On February 18, 2025, the Council of the European Union adopted Council Decision (CFSP) 2025/335 to extend the Zimbabwe sanctions regime for an additional year, until February 20, 2026. The Council further indicated that the embargo on arms and equipment remains in place.
The Council also deleted Zimbabwe Defence Industries, the last remaining entity, from the sanctions list.
