The High Court of England and Wales has upheld the first Unexplained Wealth Order issued by the National Crime Agency against two properties valued at approximately £22m, owned by Mrs Zamira Hajiyeva, wife of Jahangir Hajiev, a former banker imprisoned for fraud and embezzlement in Azerbaijan.
