The Serious Fraud Office announced the sentences of four men in connection with the agency’s four-year investigation of FH Bertling’s involvement in two separate bribery schemes – one to secure a freight forwarding contract on a North Sea oil exploration project and one on a $20 million contract in Angola. Thirteen individuals have been charged, including the company: four were acquitted, and nine have been convicted.
