On January 17, 2022, the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and the Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation issued guidance to enable businesses and industries that regularly use the UK Sanctions List and OFSI’s Consolidated List to understand and prepare for the upcoming changes in the structure and format of these lists that are scheduled to occur in February 2022. The FCDO has also provided samples of the new format of UK Sanctions List, and OFSI has released a format guide to introduce users to the new version of the Consolidated List that will be published on the HM Treasury website on January 31, 2022.
